Healthcare providers will learn how to respond in pediatric emergencies, the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, BLS, use of PALS algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics.
This is an entry level course which prepares the student to take the state Nurse Aide Exam. Students will learn basic patient care skills such as taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and incontinent care.
